Bands On The Road – Must Have Apps “Gasbuddy”
Being on the road playing show after show in town after town is expensive. Venues & Agents don’t realize the total cost for showing up at their place to play. Musicians need all the resource they can to trim the road costs. One of the largest expenses for a band in a van is fuel. The national average at the time of this article is $2.82 per gallon. It doesn’t take long to accrue an extra $50 to $100 on the total cost of a show. Musicians need a friend to help out.
You need GasBuddy! I am on the road months out of the year and can easily spend hundreds of dollars a week on gas. Every cent counts when you’re on a budget trying to get from place to place. In it’s simplest form Gasbuddy is an app for you phone ( iphone or android) that tracks gas prices. But it does more than that.
